ROFL it better not be xD 2012.. anyways we did alot today... dont ask... almost done with chapter 11.Yep what are gene probes, genetic therapy, gene therapy, two methods for genetic therapy. What are the problems faced during this process, about bacterial dna(consiting of main dna and plasmid dna), the antibiotics tetracycline(yea i think) and al (something lol) ,sticky ends and so on.Oh also from the previous chapter about fermentation both batch and fed batch processes.Advantage and disadvantages...

Results day for F214 Biology at my school: 10th March!
Have OCR chemistry result on same day as well! Hope no retakes!

Do we have to know the whole cycle of the drosophila (fruitfly)?

Meioisis, specification - what are substages?

Ecology unit seems straightforward, similar to F212.

Btw, has anyone else been shown the square dance for meiosis on youtube!? My bio teacher played it to us twice.

I am so scared about results, I have so obviously failed Biology.. :'(

I have OCR chemistry coursework at the same time, so my life is even more of a failure.

New Link to the Module 2 Pack

I promise i'll finish module 1 tonight and I i'll do my best to upload it by tomorrow morning(8am)
For module 3+4 I've already started planning for them but haven't started yet, because I've been busy lately at college and also because i was busy doing an incomplete pack for physics
so my hands are full lol
This time my packs will be clear and portable and i will also include extra resources for particular topics for reinforcement, but most importantly I will try to organise each questions according
to module content rather than random questions like the ones i did for unit 1. Although the module 2 is random it is slightly in order, but i will do my best to make sure module 1 pack follows the book.

Hi guys I'm back for a while.
    What have I missed?

Only covered module 1 so far, and some of module 4, have no idea how we are going to finish the syllabus in time :eek3:

Urrgh, I don't think we need to know the drosophila development. I checked spec and we really need to just know how body development in animals, plants, fungi are controlled in similar ways-by homobox gene and sequences which determine what is expressed in the organism. :yep:

This was exactly what I came to moan about. I've paid for my re-sits. I'm that confident I did awful. I didn't even know results were tomorrow until I saw some thread on it, I would have preferred not knowing. I feel sick :sigh:
