Hi I'm serious about a future career in medicine but it's time to choose my A levels for next year, i know i want to do biology, chemistry and maths, but cannot decide on a fourth option. What's a good fourth option? I thought maybe a traditional arts subject would be good as it shows use of other skills and also keeps my options open.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you're right with chemistry, biology and maths to be sure - these are to A2 can get you on any medical courses (providing you have the grades!)
For your last option I would pick either a language (foreign language if you've studied it at GCSE or English lit. is highly respected!) or a humanity, i.e History or Geography which show good written/ research skills.
If you don't like the sound of that then taking physics would have an over-lap with your other subjects - or even Further maths if you think you can cope!
