I don't. I had a lovely amazing group of friends in school but we all started to drift when we went to different colleges. Then I had to move away from where we lived because my parents split up and now they have all gone off to uni.
My new friends at college are crap. They're *****y and immature and I can't wait to be completely shot of them. I don't have a best friend anymore and I feel really lonely. It's not a nice feeling.

I used to have a best friend, we did pretty much everything together, but then her and the rest of my 'friends' ditched me and never gave me a reason.
In my new group of friends I did have a best friend, but she's changed and I wouldn't say we were anymore. But hey, who needs friends when you have TSR

Who doesn't have a best friend, a friend who you can speak to about anything, a friend who would do anything for you etc. ?

I don't and I feel a bit embarrassed and upset about it. For the past two years, I've been drifting from friendship group to friendship group, sometimes even ending up alone, in a new sixth form where everyone knows each other from the past or they made friends really early in year 12 [I distanced myself at the start of year 12...long story...was ditched by my "friends" in the new sixth form].

I feel lonely a lot. Most people have best friends that they hang out with on the weekend with etc. They have friends that wait for them at lunch time or look for them at break. I do have friends but I don't have "core" friends or "exclusive" best friends...it's just if I see someone at lunch or break I hang out with them, no one waits for me, no one looks for me, no one misses me.

    just feelin' lonely.

I didn't use to, before 6th form. But yeah in 6th form I drifted away from my main 'group' - it just used to bore me sitting with the same people in every break, talking about the same usual stuff. So in Year 13 I used to hang out with different people depending on what mood I was in. I wouldn't say I've got one friend I can go to about anything, but I've definitely got a few friends, that between them, I can talk about all my issues :yep:

Don't worry about it too much OP, you'll be going to university soon. I'm not saying 6th form friends aren't important, because they are - even now, while at uni, I talk regularly to friends back home, and I know we'll be friends for quite a long time yet. But yeah, at uni you'll obviously have a chance to start fresh, and make a few close mates for sure
