Cambridge VS Bath

Ok, So Im doing Ib and Ive got this offer from Bath (Physics)

Now the problem is that if I get an offer from Cambridge, Im gonna have such a hard time chosing between Cambridge and Bath. I do not want to accept both Cambridge and Bath, cus Im afraid Id be left without any uni place. In addition, I cant really make up my mind on which Id rather go to. I think I have a greater chance to get in to Bath, but then I would not want to miss cambridge just cus I didnt accept the offer. Still Im not certain Il get in to Bath Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! My heads spinning, and it woant stop til february...

Exactly what I was going to say... I've applied to Cambridge, too, and I would not worry about whether to accept an offer or not before I hold that offer! Post that thread when you have both offers!

Yes, I do worry about that as well. But Im not that afraid of not getting an offer from cambridge , cus then at least I have the offer from bath.

I guess I cant complain. After all , 5 out of 6 unis has given me an offer already , and the 6th is cambridge. But then we have that nasty Maths HL exam comming up *shudder*. I need a 6 to get in to bath and I got a 3 on the last mock (Guess what Il be doing in christmas). I dont get it. On all tests I get 5s and 6s, but as soon as we have a mock exam Im down at 3. And then I will be a megameter away from my girflriend during christmas *sob*.

Next person to call me spoiled gets a blue eye...

Cambridge is better than Bath. :smile:

* Guaranteed accommodation for 3 years
* Similar size towns/cities
* Cambridge has a better reputation academically and in industry
* Shorter, 8 week uni terms = more holidays

Bath was my first choice after being rejected after my Cambridge interview, don't get me wrong - Bath is a great university - it's just we're talking about Cambridge here... pretty much one of the most well respected universities in the world, and for good reason! :smile:

That said, I ended up at KCL after all that! :tongue:

not trying to worry u or scare u but u may get rejected by both ......so y think about this so soon?!

In this case, I feel truly sorry for you, because you have to do maths over Christmas. How awful! :frown:

I hope you get an offer from Cambridge and that you will be happy with whichever uni you choose in the end. The maths should give you enough to worry about at the moment, so don't worry about Cambridge as well! Have a good christmas in between solving equations! :wink:
