Its supposed to be really nice, but you might have trouble meeting friends who are also first years as St Germans is mostly finalists and postgrads.

I think it's going to be all first years this year actually. Problem with Widecombe house is, unlike the other St G's houses, it doesn't have double beds ;P it is very nice accommodation though.
Hey! I'm gonna be in Widecombe too! Its exciting now we know where were gonna be! What course are you on? I'm doing drama. Shame Widecombe doesnt have double beds! Have you got en-suite? do you know if all Widecombe rooms have em-suite?
Oh sorry, just re-read your post! I know what course your doing now! Woops!! I wish there were some pics of it and maybe some more info!! I guess we will just have to wait a few more weeks to find out! Oh btw, I rang the accommodation people to check about the bed size and yep, its def single beds for us!

yea i knew about the single beds - typical eh?

i think the whole of widecombe is en suite.
Yey! Thats good, at least we have en-suite so we can't really complain about the beds! Although like u said its typical! Sill it could be worse, I know someone who applied to Nash, St Germans and Holland Hall but got put in Lafrowda (not even with enhanced!) Poor them! I'm so happy I got ST Germans (my 2nd choice!)!:biggrin::biggrin: Was it your first choice?

I know a group of finalists who have a flat in St G's.

love katy***
Do you know what its like? I'm a bit worried about the lack of social interaction! I'm sure that other first years will be in the same boat and want to meet more than 5 people from their flat tho! or at least i hope so!

yea it was my first choice...nash grove was my second, and i didnt put down a third.

my brother has seen the accommodation in st germans coz he has a friend at exeter and he said it was really nice.

i wouldnt have gone for en suite usually, but i went to boarding school for 7 years so i know what its like to share a bathroom!!!!! :toilet:

I registered just now, so all I have to do is head down to Exeter on moving-in-day and take it from there.
