Lower Back Pains watch

    I am currently getting lower back pains at the moment but only on one side and its preventing me playing my sport at the moment. I was just wandering if anybody knows what weight lifting techniques done incorrectly from starting strength could cause this? Thanks for the help

    Lower back pain only on one side?

    Not trying to be Dr. Internetz or anything, but I get this too and, having been to an actual doctor, I've found it's issues with the sacroiliac joint. Google if that can be weightlifting related.

    Definitely check your squat and deadlift form - if you're rounding your lower back at all that'll exacerbate your problem. If you do find yourself rounding your back, try dropping the weight down and nailing your form before working back up. I've found that whilst doing anything with questionable form highlights my lower back issues, squats and deadlifts with solid form are a great way to strengthen it.
