    Hi all

i wanted to transfer uni because i wanted a sandwich course so i applied on ucas again and only chose westminister uni as my only option cause i thought i could get in, but that wasn't the case, i checked on track and they now rejected me and my application has been unsuccessful, so i wanted some advice on what to do now. i know i should of added more uni's but didn't, it was my stupid mistake. I would add some more uni's from track since i can add another 4 but on my personal statement I put down that i wanted to join westminister, so do u think that the uni's i apply for will automatically reject me becuase i put down on my personal statment that i wanted to join westminister?

You already know you have made two serious mistakes: (a) not applying to more universities before the deadline for equal consideration passed and (b) mentioning a university in your PS. I mention these in the hope that others reading this might avoid them.

There is little you can do other than to make more choices on UCAS and hope for the best, also emailing or telephoning the admissions tutors at the universities concerned to explain the situation. They should realise you have been naive and may not hold it against you. They may even invite you to (or you could ask if you could) submit an email PS. If this happens make sure you get it reviewed by the TSR PS help service before sending it. If you had done this in the first place you would have received advice which would have prevented you from being in the position you now find yourself.

i have just emailed one of the uni's to see what they say about my personal statment and if they can accpet another one. Will what i wrote on my personal statment affect the uni's decsion alot? what are the chances of it not affecting it?

Nobody can tell. You'll just have to wait and see.
