The most famous person I have ever spoken to is probably Patrick Vieira.

Quite a surprising number actually! Probably most famous was Tom Cruise, and longest conversation was with James May, who I was sat next to at the Valkyrie premiere (or more so, Kate Adie (do famous journos count?) who is really good friends with my uncle's gf and who we've had round for meals a few times).

I've chatted to Stephen Fry a couple of times, and I've met Michael Palin. They're probably the two most famous - I work in a bookshop, so I meet a lot of authors etc as well.

None, other than some very minor Irish celebrities.

    -Tim McGarry
    -Frank Mittchell
    -Jim Corr

Yeah, I wish I could say I spoke to more prominent celebrities, but I haven't.
I'm actually really impressed by Jim Corr :P

My list goes as far as Niall Quinn [old footballer, chairman on Sunderland] and Jonny Wilkinson

I was hit in the face by a football by Prince William in 2007.

Silly World Scout Jamborees inviting royalty there xD

 that's your claim to fame!

I've met Richard Hammond twice and James May, and Farris Rotter. But that's it.

Yeah, my dad was neighbours with the corrs when he was a kid.

They got on well together, other than the time my uncle got in a fight with Jim Corr!

Never really spoken to any but when we went to the Edinburgh fringe Richard Bacon was doing some presenting for GMTV. One of my friends saw him and went "hey, Richard Bacon's over there!" and I went "what, the one who got kicked off Blue Peter? I was gutted about that"... heard some laughing and turned round and there he was.

Never talked to a celebrity but have been laughed at by one, if that counts.

Edit - just remembered I spoke to the guy who plays Percy Weasley in Harry Potter and Berlie Doherty when I was at primary school.
