I think he means to put it in the education section, but just go ask him if you aren't sure.

Are you sending in a late application? Anyway, all he means is that you *MUST* list Glasgow University under the education section on the UCAS form. This is the section where you enter previous schools and sixth forms attended. Missing out a previous university, even if you didn't complete the course, would be lying and can be easily found out. Make sure you enter it, as you can hardly hide an entire year of your life.

In the education section, enter Glasgow and then you should be able to give details of what you studied and any qualifications, should you have passed your first year.

Thanks guys, I'm staying at Glasgow to complete my first year, and if I don't get onto a pharmacy course this year I'm staying on till next year too I don't want to hide it :P I've just got brilliant exam results haha. Right so if I add it in the education section, it won't let me enter the actual courses, unless I say I've gained A qualification, will level one Chem Bio and Earth Science be recognised qualifications?

Aw that's a shame. Do you plan on staying in Scotland? Best of luck!

Unless you list a qualification, you unfortunately cannot list subjects studied. If I leave Southampton (which I will if I get accepted elsewhere), I won't leave with a qualification, so was unable to list that I'm currently studying Economics here. Anyhow, the most important thing is listing you're currently at university, and they'll be able to find out any other information from UCAS. (Your ID stays the same but your username changes.)

ahh! i'm doing the same thing! and i'm at glasgow atm!!! you need a reference from your tutor/student advisor, they're so helpful just email them, oh and its in the education section..i forgot to do it also, ring/email the unis you're applying to before so they know your name, this saved me from getting a rejection from manchester - they rejected me at first then i emailed them saying i had spoken to them about my situation and it was valid to apply and they said they would reconsider my application
