Hi guys, I want to do Further Pure AS Level for AQA course. I am also doing normal Maths and have done all the units (C1, C2, C3, C4 and M1, M2).

I want to know which units/modules I will need to do in order to in order to get a full AS Level. Do I need FP1 only? Or do I have to take some other units to it like Decision, Statistics...?

I am confused. Please help me out.

The subject award AS Further Mathematics requires three units, one
of which is chosen from MFP1, MFP2, MFP3 and MFP4, and pretty much any two
    more units.

For most people that means FP1 plus any 2 others

    You only need FP1.

If you're going to do this before summer, then I suggest that you steer clear from M3 unless you like mechanics, and it will not hold you up. It's a fairly large module with some difficult concepts.

FP1, S1 and S2 sounds good to me, also personally I would take FP2 as it's far more interesting than any applied module.

I'm doing this as well. I got told FP1, D1 and M2 were the easiest three units that will get me an AS grade. I've already taken FP1, and I'm doing D1 and M2 in the summer. But D1 is so easy it's unbelievable.

    Yeah I'm doing this too.
It was a great Decision - We're doing FP1, S2 and M1 (We did S1 and D1 as part of the regular A-Level)..
D1 is easy, but it's also a bit of fun.. You can enjoy it whilst getting a good grade! I'm not complaining!!
