Well tbh i'm not wellspoken. But i've never had anyone not understand me. :confused:

On a seperate note, does anyone think people from Edinburgh are difficult to understand? I mean their accent is quite strong and I remember discussing this with a friend once.


I don't think so.. Then again, I'm not good at differentiating between accents, and sometimes I don't understand Scottish people but generally it's Glaswegian that I find difficult.

im sure its Dunediner ive heard it in a few places and its something to do with the old name for Edinburgh

People from Glasgow are called weegies.

People from Aberdeen are called Dons or Donians.

Least thats how we refer to them :wink:
