Nasty withdrawal symptoms

I've been on some form of anti-depressant for the past three years and i'm finally coming off them now (yay), but I'm getting really crappy headaches, sleepiness and dizziness as a result which have lasted a couple of days now - anyone else been through this/somthing similar and can say how long this should last for! It's been about 3 days since I started reducing the dose. I was on 60mg of citalopram if it's any use.

Speak to your GP/prescribing doctor if you're overly worried or if your withdrawal effects are interfering with your day to day life.

PS - I'm assumming you're withdrawing with their knowledge and are doing it in a step-wise manner rather than just stopping taking them...
Yeah I'm doing it as my GP says, and I would go and see him but his surgery is quite a bit away from me (we moved house but I was able to keep seeing him) and I don't really have a way of getting there just now. Plus I'd feel a bit stupid about it!

I'm guessing he has a telephone  Ring the surgery and ask if he could call you if/when he has a moment.
