There's a Firefox add-on that's good for this, called LeechBlock, check it out.

how do i block TSR on my computer? so that i can't just access it like normal, but i can reverse it at some stage.

this site is distracting me from my work.
Post in AAM and ask for a moderator to temporarily ban you. The ban can be lifted when you want.

If you're using any software like SPyware doctor or similar which blocks certain adverts and dangerous websites, you can just add it to the list of blocked sites.

You get a ban. Or firewall ban it.

Even if you block it you'll still be thinking about coming here and posting.

I read this on another similar forum regarding Facebook - the user typed random letters on her keyboard, pasted it into a futureme.org e-mail and set it as her password. So, the e-mail got sent out on the last day of her exams and she could log in again.

Except if someone really wanted to go on TSR (and the urge was bad enough to try out your method) they would simply have to click "Forgot password" to get a new one.
    Hmm. Fair point.

I've no experience of Firefox plugins etc. but this is the method that I typically recommend if you've got no willpower for avoiding the site. Very easy to do (and to revert if need be)
