I don't tend to have trouble sleeping - ie getting to sleep, although I am a light sleeper. However, I have a problem in that the night before my exam, even if I am really tired, I've avoided coffee, I've done lots of exercise etc I can't fall asleep simply because my mind goes into panic mode. I can't stop worrying about not falling asleep and how it will be detrimental the next day, and my heart starts beating faster and my stomach is tense. I've tried Bach's rescue remedy and Nytol herbal sleeping pills but never any others.
Please could you recommend some over-the-counter sleeping pills that could "quieten" my mind/relieve anxiety

Good luck with waking up on on time then.

I'd say calm yourself down in other ways.

Quiet Life? They're herbal and they're used for anxiety and sleep. Not all sleeping pills mean you have trouble getting up, these ones don't make you drowsy.
