Wages went up a bit because loads of well qualified people emigrated, from skilled workers to people with master degrees and especially they are not very happy about that they have to work in factory/ But what to do when worker's wage is better than job in Poland. But wage raising in Poland did not last long. Recent crisis anyone ? There you go
Well in some ways the economy has benefited as a lot of the Polish workers send their money home which introduces new money to the local economy. However, there's been a 'brain drain' as the skilled workers have often emigrated meaning that there are less skilled workers in Poland. Also, the majority of emigrants are young men which means a decrease in Poland which could perhaps affect the birth rates?
