    hi guys
I have some question that i cant solve it, if you guy could solve these questions

    1) find the general solution of this equation, give answers in radians
    sin^2X=14

    2) find the matrices

A two way stretch, scale factor 4 in the x direction and scale factor 2 in the y direction

    3) A triangle has vertices A(2,0) B(3,1) c(-1,3)
the triangle transformed using the matrix
    ( 2 1 )
    ( 3 4 )
find the vertices of the images

I was going to answer this earlier but I assumed someone was going to get there but as no one has.

    1. Sin^2x cannot equal 14, Largest value of sinx is 1, so max value of (sinx)^2 is 1. (or at least that's the question you've posted up that I've intepreted)

    2. You want to use your identity matrix and compare with what you need. You need to find a matrix for each stretch.

    3. All it is is matrix multiplication:

    (2 1) (2 3 -1) = (a b c)
    (3 4) (0 1 3) = (d e f)

LOL I'm not here to do your work for you. I can help you and that's what I've done, for part two, what do you not understand? and for part three, I've practically answered the question anyway, all you need to do is multiply the matrices and solve....
