    The only decent reason they could give is they're too busy. Ask nicely and you should be fine

    Anyway.. yeah you should be able to. My friend just emailed and got a reply a day or two later

    You can always ask, although some unis won't give feedback. ANd those that do might take a while. It's probably best to email rather than phone as some unis do have a policy of wanting such requests in writing, and be aware that because of this you may receive a letter through the post.
