I am trying to apply for a number of courses. One of them requires 160 UCAS points, and by the time the course starts, I will have 200 (according to my predicted grades). The biggest problem is the qualifications these points have been obtained from.
I will receive 120 from my BTEC National Award, 70 from a CoPE qualification and the rest of the points from Key Skills. Do I have any chance getting onto this course?
I have relevant experience in the field of study (it is a politics degree). I'm just having trouble getting an academic reference, should I just give up until next year? Or should I rightfully be able to apply?
Other courses I've applied for ask for 200 UCAS points, but seem to favour A-Level qualifications--is it worth applying for these too?
Any help will be appreciated.

You need to contact the Universities in question and ask them .
