    I think its finally come to that time to tell my parents about my sexuality, im terrified :eek3: any ideas about how to break it to them??

    Just go ahead and tell them, there really isn't much you can say to make things easier... it all depends how they're going to react.

    Sadly, mine...erm...didn't take it too well. I hope yours do though

    Hm. In my case, I've thought out ways of telling everyone except for my parents. Pretty big oversight there. Maybe I'll just casually drop it in passing or something.

    Two friends of mine (girls) are together, and they found it difficult to tell their parents. They sat down together, and told them outright. You can't really dress it up in any way. Just explain that you have felt this way for a while, and hopefully they will accept it. If they don't accept it straight away, I'm sure they will over time. Good Luck

    Are you closer to one parent? Choose the one you think will be most accepting of the news to tell first. Maybe the news won't come as such a great surprise as you think. You're going to have to tell them sometime so the sooner you do the sooner they'll come to terms with it. Good luck!
