Alright, so at around year 11 my GCSE results came in, and its fair to say that they were average at best. I did 8 O-Levels and got 3A*3A's and 2B's

AS's came around and I really pushed myself to the limit, all my teachers predicted me to get a mix of b's and c's and in the end I managed to pull 4A's. (3 of which are well above 90)

This year, I'm applying to a lot of high-end universities in the UK and the US. I already sent off my applications. My question is, I'm expected to get A*AA, Imperials requirements but only just. I am almost certain that I will be able to pull off at least A*A*A, what I'm saying is, how would this affect my chances of getting into the likes of Imperial and the sorts when almost everyone else applying is expected to get A*A*A*?

I have been told that my personal statement is very good and I have loads of extra-circulars, (Head-boy, People to People Leadership Summit at Harvard, multiple awards from MUN etc etc) My reference is also quite good.

You live in Eqypt?? wow awesome. I suppose it won't be affecting your chances at all. At the end of the day if you get good grades you're in with a good chance.

So your question is about your predicted grades and whether they are good enough? No-one can tell you. Your application sounds strong but individual unis look for different things; predicted grades are not necessarily the deciding factor in whether you get an offer or not. In the fullness of time you will get your decisions, and if you do achieve A*A*A* and exceed any offer you have firmed you can always try UCAS - Adjustment on Results Day if you want to. Whether Imperial would be offering places through Adjustment however is unknown.
