how often do unis ask about pharmacy work experience? Watch

is work ex. in a chemist important? and is it asked about in an interview if mentioned??

Its very favourable and a lot of places really like it. However its difficult to say if it is essential.

I would strongly recommend it and yes if it is mentioned they will ask about it in an interview.

If it's mentioned in your personal statement then there's a pretty massive chance of them bringing it up in interview, simply because they want to know what you learned from your experiences. In my last interview they asked me about two of my placements. Work experience is useful to have as you can also refer to it when answering questions about the role of a pharmacist/why pharmacy ect.
