me and my ex split up about 3 weeks ago, his decision. This week it was my birthday and i ended up staying at his after i had been out, odd i know. Things ended up happening.
He asked me if i had got with anyone since we split up, which i have, although it was some random guy at a bar.

When i told him this, he was furious, telling me to get out of his house. Luckily i calmed him down, as it was about 4 in the morning...

Anyway, how can he be so angry when he broke up with me?

Coming from a male, I presume he was angry because he didn't get close to anyone in those 3 weeks so feels like you dont feel the same for him as he does for you, but considering that he broke up with you I dont think he has a leg to stand on to be quite honest.

maybe he's jealous because he hasn't managed to get with anyone since dumping you, and was hoping it was the same with you so his ego wouldnt be bruised.

Possessiveness. It doesn't even mean he's not over you, he probably just wasn't used to you not being his anymore, despite him being the one who wanted the break-up. It's fairly common.
