    Bitter Much?
Not really. Wasnt too keen on goin there anyway...there's no doubting its quality, but it requires AAA? Considering its not well known outside Europe, its only good if ur sure of what u wanna do (course, country of work) Most ppl I know arent 100% sure of their life at UG level.

Accounting is such a mindless subject. Even LSE dont ask for AAA, I dont what Cass is thinking.
What are you doing at warwick?

Why the hell would you apply there AND firm it if you hadn't already done your research? it's lazy to come on here without even attempting to search through the thousands of threads.. Seriously, sort it ouy/

In my opinion, the most important aspect of any degree is its quantitative element.
Usually, the better unis will have a higher proportion of Quant element compared to crap unis. E.g., the A&F degree @ LSE, can get pretty rigorous depending on the options you choose. It's not your usual A&F degree that you get elsewhere.
If you have the balls, go for 50-80% quant subjects.
@ Cass, the names are specialised but in essence what you're doing is a BSc in 'Finance' or 'Business Studies'. All the names they use are just marketing gimmicks. :eek3:
If you've done Quant subjects, your degree will be looked much more favourably even if you do less well. A 50% in maths, stats, econometrics is superior to a 50% in human resource management.

What exactly's so rigourous about A&F at LSE? Because Accounting certainly isnt rigourous.

If you keep accounting to a min, and choose subjects like Elementary statistical theory, Mathematical Methods (Year1) Econometrics, OR (Year 2) Derivatives and Financial Econometrics (Year 3), you're doing a pretty Quant-Type A&F.
The beauty of that program (perhaps any decent finance course @ top-tier Unis)is that it can accomodate anyone really. From the boffins that like and love management accounting to nerds that like solving pde's in their sleeps.
Also, the MSc in A&F @ LSE has produced many distinguised professors over the years and Mark Salmon(WBS) is one of them. A top researcher in Econometrics.
