My boyfriend of year just broke up with me out of the blue I'm so devastated I have no idea what to do. To make things worse he took a day to decide over it telling me one minute he wanted to then changing his mind and he eventually did it over msnI'm at uni and live at home so I'm feeling so lonely I put so much into the relationship and have lost a lot of friends over it. He's desperate for us to stay friends and has been texting and calling but I can't do it right now. He said he broke up with me because we had been arguing quite a lot recently a lot of which was caused by my depression and he says he feels responsible. I'm not really sure what I'm asking but I've not slept or eaten in two days maybe just some reassurance that I will get over it. thankyou

    Well simply, you never will.

Every boyfriend you get after him, you'll still think of him more...

Well other than being disheartening that's total rubbish.

Well concentrate on friends and going out and stuff - and at least appearing to have fun , you might even have some.

There's always the old adage of "the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else"
Up to you whether you want to go with that!

You will get over it, and now that you've allowed yourself a couple of days to wallow the best thing to do is to get yourself up and out of the house. Try and have fun with your friends, be it going to the cinema, a club or whatever. If he can't support you through everything, including depression then sooner or later you will meet a man who will x

Lots of chocolate and other unhealthy food. Girl friends are also good to be around, try and have fun and forget about him, he isn't worth your tears.
