Hey, basically I’m after some good advice I went to Malia, Crete last year for the full summer and had an awesome time stayed out there June – end of Sep. Annd, myself and a few friends want to do the same again but we are undecided where to go?

    Our short list complies of:

    Ayia Napa , Cyprus
    Laganas, Zante

Any advice would be helpful, especially if you have spent the summer working out at either of two.

    Much love x

went to ayia napa in '08, quality week. can't comment on the other places but we'd usually get back to the apartment at 6ish. a lot of good themed bars/clubs although it was expensive - 5euro for a smirnoff ice/10euro for double whiskey coke. drinks from shops were wayyy cheaper though. beaches were good although we only went once as we just stayed by the pool. the water park is quality as well. we never had any trouble either. apparently the local council had had a massive clear up of drugs and violence etc so it was definitely a lot more chilled than expected
downsides were that tbh, it was a bit of a cockfest, your choice if that's good or not and it was sometimes quite quiet.

Definitely Ayia Napa, been there twice and we're going back this summer too. It's a lot bigger than Zante, more bars and clubs etc. I didn't think it was too expensive there apart from drinks in clubs, which will be expensive in most places anyway.
