nope. I love the thrill of the diagnosing and managing people. would be far more limited in dentistry.

On my work experience/volunteering I remember at least 6 F1/F2s telling me they wished they'd done dentistry instead :p:

This is absolutely ridiculous, how stupid to you have to be to apply for medicine when you want to do dentistry. Answer me that. I shall immediately disown anyone who shows such a blatant lack of commitment.

All medics have the dentistry phase lol..
It's usually when they wish they'd gone for easier money.. lol
But medicine feels so much more rewarding, so its worth the stress

I did consider it, and did some Dentistry work experience. But, it was incredibly repetitive and it wasn't for me.

Obviously some will find it great, but I'm sure if you buy a mirror/descaling set from Boots you'll have as much fun.

There doesn't appear to be any shortage of people qualified to do banking so it's a much tougher profession to break into as opposed to dentistry.

The bankers are doing pretty good for themselves so clearly they chose the right people for what they want to do.

Without any discredit to dentists, I want to work in a varied clinical environment and I can't see myself ever wanting to work as a dentist for that reason. Although, to be fair, eventually all us med students graduate and specialise after some years so really dentistry could be seen as another specialisation of sorts.

Me? I just don't "want to make the whole world smile"
