    I'll be sitting it later in the week, and basically i'd quite like a gold, so.. any tips on what to learn? or exam technique?

    hmm. Ask your math teacher for a couple of examples of what you should be expecting. From my experience in the senior math challenge, which i did average in, its more general knowledge and how you apply the maths you have learn into real situations. Example you have a triangle in a circle and a tangent so it has 3 angles to make the total 180 degrees. You are given 1 angle try and find out another angle.
