question 1 - what do you call a cloudy/milky solution (in scientific terms)? apparently you get no marks for using either of those words.

question 2 - im looking at a brown solution with, say, a yellow solid that has just formed. would saying that the solution is brown with a yellow precipitate be correct?

question 3 - is there a way to tell whether bromine water is off or not? because in our mock, 1/3 of our class had false results for a few experiments, and it was because the bromine water was off. our teacher's thoughts on that: "life is unfair" (implying that it will happen to some people on the actual day). i was one of these people with the off bromine water, and the maximum that i could have got was 7/12, which is a C. this means that the highest i could possibly get, assuming everything else is perfect, is a C. if i drop one mark, the highest i can get is a D. which i don't want . i should be getting a B/A in this subject!

THANKS, and good luck for those who have it too
