    try to moderate your carbs dude, keep them high on the days you train and stick to complex carbohydrate sources (wholemeal, oats etc). You need a fully fledged resistance training regime and a cardiovascular workout to supplement it. Working on your abs directly WILL NOT burn fat, but it will strengthen the abdominal area. The visibility of your abs is entirely dependent upon bodyfat hence a balanced diet and frequent cardiovascular exercise is essential.
