    Hey guys.
This is a thread where we can be vulgar and post our results, seeing as how this sort of thing is frowned upon whilst face-to-face in the bubble :p: .

I'm a JH physicist and my results have just now come in:

    Format:
    Semester - Module number - Module title - Grade - Result (P, F) - Credits
    (Original post by Results)
    S1 PH3075 Applied Vector Calculus 17.6 P 5.0 / 5.0
    S1 AS2101 Astrophysics 2 18.4 P 15.0 / 15.0
    S1 PH3066 Mathematics for Physicists 16.6 P 10.0 / 10.0
    S1 PH3061 Quantum Mechanics 1 16.3 P 10.0 / 10.0
    S1 PH3012 Thermal and Statistical Physics 18.5 P 15.0 / 15.0

Grrr, grrrr at you I say! Grrrr! Having results already, grrrrrrr... <skulks away> grrrrr.

I'm still waiting, in case it's not obvious :p: Well done with your exams, though

Sambo, they're all meant to be out on Thursday, but if they're done, they'll release them before then. I almost wish they didn't, because every day I check and get worked up and then disappointed because nothing's there.

    OooooooOOOOOOooooh, get youse :p:

I think sometimes Honours modules have results out sooner because they're smaller classes, so there's less stuff to mark... but it doesn't guarantee anything, unfortunately.

    <Twiddles thumbs impatiently> C'mon....

    maths results are up now.

    Second year MMath.

Pretty disappointed with mine, but this may just be because i was used to getting 17/18/20s in 1st year without much effort [/arrogance]

    MT2002:14
    MT3501:14.7
    MT3503:15.7

all comfortable passes nonetheless which is all i needed to do.

    I think the average is
    \frac{(30 \times 17.5) +(20 \times 16.2) +(10 \times 14.5)}{30+20+10} = 16.5666 \ldots, so it would round up to 16.6, which is really good

Yay! However because I am rubbish and can't remember my grades, I actually had a 17.2 in Russian, not a 17.5, which makes my average 16.416.... DEAR LORD SO CLOSE TO A FIRST AND YET NOT QUITE
