HELP: Visual history V written historical sources watch

    • Thread Starter

Basically I have an essay to write for my degree on American History, which basically asks what are the advantages and disadvantages of a 'visual history' source (so a history documentary on TV for example) and a 'written history' source, so books etc.

I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of good books/journals on the subject, or if anyone had any ideas about the answer?
