train journey different in both directions? watch

    cambridge to leicester 1h 47m 0 changes
    leicester to cambridge 2h 21m 1 change...

    like even if i change the times etc it makes no difference. is it not really strange that all the return journeys have a change in :s
    surely if a train runs one way along a track, its going to run the other way as well

    Here that's quite common. Trains don't always stop at minor stations, nor do they travel along the whole line (so here some terminate at Bournemouth, others at Poole and others at Weymouth). Plus you could be affected by engineering works or what not.. It's a pain in the bum when your main journey is a minor station to a minor station meaning half the time you have to change and ohters you don't

    Its the line that runs to Birmingham on from Leicester. Thats notorious for line closures and engineering works, especially at weekends. Plus the trains are never on time. I know sometimes its quicker to go through London Kings Cross as silly as it sounds
