Hey so I when I was out at the weekend I met this nice guy but I was really quite drunk and after he told me he was 21 and at uni, I said I was 19 and at uni too, when really I am 17, a month off 18, in last year at school and have got into uni starting this september. Now he's texted me and I was wondering if you think he woud be annoyed to find out the truth? will it be too wierd and he'll just be put off?

If you tell him straight up he'll probably delete ur number and stop contact.
I'd suggest you imply that you dont fully remember what you said that night, and say that you were a bit drunk and might have said things which you didnt mean to. appologise for 'anything you might have said' (in a lighthearted way) but dont mention what they were.
Then later on, if things fade out, nevermind, move on. but if they might start to go somewhere, tell him that you really like him and you remembered something from the other night that you think you said and you feel bad. Then admit your age and tell him that you understand if he doesnt want to talk to any more but hope he appreciates that you're telling him this because you like him and dont want to feel like you're lying to him.
At that stage you're going to have to accept it if he doesnt want to go any further.
I know this works at least sometimes because it worked on me :P: I'm 18, 6 weeks or so ago went out with a 15yo who ogirinally told me she was 17. That ended after a month but thats another story, it could have worked out, it wasnt the age gap that was the problem.
If he likes you too he may well keep talking to you and see what happens.
