Allthough the only career you get is an archaeologists. In which case its perfect!

It might be considered a bit pointless if you don't plan on working in that field later (ooooh... no pun intended).
No, its one of those non-vocational ones that employers love, and its a great one to do a PGCE (teaching) or a law conversion from. PLUS it has the option to be vocational as well. Rock on.

Im doing archaeology at Chester (Starting september 25th) and according to their prospectus many of their archaeology graduates go on to get careeres in IT which suits me fine. Im good with computers but ive always found IT lessons/lectures to be the most boring things ever so if i can get a job in IT without having to study it then im sorted

i'm doing computing but would have wanted to do Archaeology! it looks so kewl! (tho probably not as good as in the movies :frown:)
Does anyone else do this and have found/done something exhillirating? and not doing IT?
