I'm on a gap year and thought it would be cool to join hordes of American students having fun on Spring Break. Have any of you done this before? Any advice?

I haven't but I'm planning on doing it next year!

I think Spring Break is usually between March and mid-April

Next year I'm going to visit either Cancun or Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, maybe have a look at those, they're very, very popular amongst Americans because the drinking age is lower in Mexico (18) than in the States (21). Have a look online and in travel agents for ideas of prices, you might be able to get a decent all-inclusive deal.

I saw 2 weeks all inclusive plus flights in Cancun at a 3* hotel for £899 in a travel shop the other day. That's pretty good for a fortnight of limitless food and booze, I could get my money's worth there!
