1. Hi guys, I've been puzzling over this question for a while now... would appreciate some help..

1. Two objects, A and B are moving with a relative speed of v/c = 3/5

Assume that A and B start at the same place in space and time.

A sends a pulse of light towards B at t=2s and a second pulse at t=3s.

a) Draw a space-time diagram to depict B's motion from A's point of view. Add to the diagram the two light pulses from A and show how they would reflect off B and return to A.

b) Show that the two way doppler shift k^2 = 4

c) Deduce the interval between pulses as seen by B

d) Show that the time dilation factor is 5/4

Thanks, would really appreciate any help - I've been reading through all my notes but appeared to have fallen asleep at some point...
