My new reseloution was to get fit, I have obviously been a bit slow to start but next week I have decided, I will start getting fit!!!
I have got loads of gyms near me, such as Fitness First, David Llloyd, Living Well even my local council gym...
So I was wondering what gyms everyone recommends?
It would also be brillaint if I could look around a few of these gyms, does anyone know if they will let you have a workout at each one?
Thankyou in advance,

I recently joined Virgin Active in Finnieston and I'm enjoying it so much more than gyms I've been at in the past. Not sure how convenient the location is for you, but its a good price and you can stop it whenever you want. The staff have been absolutely incredible. Im paying 39.95 a month for my membership and its worth every penny.
Hope this helps!

DW sports has everything you need and is cheap. Specially for students. 15 non-peak, 28 all times (per month).

Im a member at Virgin Active too, Ive been there since I moved to Glasgow for uni and its more expensive than council gyms etc. but you pay for what you get. Its about £30 on a monthly contract for me.
I know whenever I want to bring friends down they are pretty acommodating maybe give them a call and see???

I do like the bumping of a 6 month old thread but as you're on a student forum i would recomend your uni gym/college gym. Even the most expensive memebership to my uni gym is £150 per year which is 12.50 a month so it's less than half the price of other gyms...
