Can you apply to universities with out going through ucas, just independetly now? Bearing in mind you have already applied through ucas, but all rejections and you want to apply to a different university that you know you have a chance of getting in?

Use Extra, although the university and/or course you want to apply for may not have gone into Extra.

Universities only usually accept applications straight to them if you have non-standard qualifications, or unless they specified it in the first place.

Unless it's for universities outside the UK or a part time course, I'm pretty sure you have to apply through UCAS. If you have all rejections then that's what UCAS Extra is for.

This is exactly what UCAS Extra is designed for . Some universities will accept direct applications through a route called "record of prior acceptance" but it's significantly more trouble and effort than going through UCAS Extra and most universities only deal with UCAS and applications through that route.
