'Uniting the Nation for 5 minutes'

We have had posters all over college recently advertising the 'UK Big Freeze'. This event boasts to be the biggest flashmob the UK has ever seen (basically at a certain time on the date above, horns will sound at specific locations across the UK and participants will freeze in their chosen pose and then five minutes later go off as if nothing has happened).

There are quite a lot of locations: http://www.ukbigfreeze.co.uk

So, I was wondering if anyone is planning to take part or if anyone has done one before? Do you think it is a harmless fun activity, or a public nuisance? Comments anyone?

It's too bad I don't have one closer to home. I'm not going to go to Birmingham for it..

I'm going to try and make the Bristol one.. :yep:

I wonder whether enough people will take part for it to have an actual impact. Like, it could just be one person on each street and no one would notice. If they add Oxford I might do it...
