The stated grades you see before you apply are just the standard offer, depending on number of applicants and other factors the offer they give you can be more or less than stated :yep:

Putting kent down as my firm would now be a big risk though =/ So I might have to completly reject the offer.
Why? You'll still have an insurance offer to fall back on. One thing's for sure: if you don't accept the offer you won't be going there even if you do get the grades.

I think that's only their average offer - they can ask anything above or below it.

Hmmm... I could have sworn Kents standard law offer is AAB. I know a few people that applied there for law with this knowledge... I considered it myself as an insurance and thought it was AAB. But I don't know.. are you applying for a joint honours which often have lower standard offers =\ Also, have you checked their website, its more up to date?

    Well basicly,

I applied to Kent uni at canterbury for law on the grounds that in their undergraduate prospectus 2010 book it says

"Offer levels A/AS levels: 320 points (over 3 A levels or equivalent) Including AB at A level.

And today I just recieved my offer from them of AAB.

Is it wrong that they say in their book that their offer will be ABB and then give out offers of AAB?
They put their offer up this year to AAB but after they had printed the prospectus for 2010. i only found out it was AAB when i went to the open day. i had to have a bit of a re think cas kent was gonna be my back up lol

TBH they probably would still accept you if you got ABB. I have a friend who is joining me to do Law this year at Kent Canterbury campus who got ABC at Alevel in History, Physics and Politics. So work hard, do the best you can! Kent looks great and i'm looking forward to everything it offers.

    GOOD LUCK!
