Id like to do something with animals when im older be it a vet or something like that. Im definately taking biology, maths and chemistry. Physchology gives me that something else because i don't want to fully go down the 'science' route plus the only aspect of the physics i want to learn about is the medical physics element which is a small proportion of the course; everything else i'm really not that interested in. Physchology is however something i want to learn about but should i be taking physics if its useful to me?

I don't believe Physics is essential for pursuing a medicine degree considering you are planning to study Bio/Chem/Maths. I would go for Psychology as it is a bit different but still relevant, involving a lot of Biology - most obviously related to Psychological conditions.

A Physics A-Level combined with 3 other work heavy subjects would overload most people and after all you want the highest marks possible for the best degree course, especially for medicine. If Physics is not essential the right choice seems to be Psychology unless you really feel inclined toward Physics. Most find Psychology slightly easier and from personal experience it requires less work in order to succeed.

definitely do psychology, i do psychology now and i can tell you the work load is not very big and you can just like learn it all 1 week before the exam and get a good mark!
with all the other subjects you're doing i think you will find it quite hard to keep up with physics too...
definitely psychology! because it's easy to get an A and another A on a medicine application looks goooooooooooooooood

By the sounds of it you'll enjoy psychology a lot more, and with biology, chemistry and maths you should be fine

I'd go for Physics. I wish I hadn't dropped it after AS.
