Working a 5 day week & at uni one day a week

I've applied to and been successful (even though I have yet to recieve a confirmation letter) in gaining a position of 'trainee quantity surveyor'. It is rather poor pay for the first year (£8000), but they pay for you to go to uni part time, 1 day a week. Anybody else at uni part time?

I'm considering keeping on my saturday job as my gf works on Saturday and I'd probably be doing nothing, except maybe staying in bed lol.

Do you think it would be hard doing the 9 to 5 four days a week in an office/ site environment, doing uni one day (again can expect around 9 to 5 day) AND working in a shop 9 to 5.30 on a Saturday. Anybody do it, think I should pack my Saturday job in? I could really do with the extra money from my Saturday job though. I have to pay (at least) £100 a month rent to parents, £100 for my car repayments and £100 for insurance, plus I have petrol and transport costs to pay on top of that before I even get to think about spending money for socialising etc.

I think it depends on what additional 'work' you would be set from your uni course. I would suspect that if you REALLY put your mind to it, any work that had to be covered (Reading, reports etc) might be coverable in 2/3 evenings during the week - although you would have to be very self-disciplined to do this, especially if you usually see your girlfriend most evenings. You could certainly try keeping your Saturday job in the short term, see if you can be self-disciplined enough to make it all work - ultimately you may need to give it up perhaps prior to any exams. Sundays could be a girlfriend day!
depends. i work full time, 7.30-4 mon-fri and often work weekends. usually 1 day 7.30-4 (or 5). sometimes satday and sunday. ive been almost 4 weeks without a day off before.... and now my last day off was 16th (have the next 3 days off tho)
