Muslims and divorce - do any muslims have parents who are? watch

Anon please as I don't want the whole world knowing about my family's complex mess.
Basically, my family are muslim and it's pretty much looked down on to get divorced in Islam, so my parents have been living together for 8 years since separating. They argue quite a bit and generally annoy my brother, sister and I (we're 13, 15 and I'm 17).
Just wanted to know if there are any other muslims who've parents have separated and how they're coping (whether their parents live in separate accomodation etc). I wish mine would because there'd be peace, I'd be able to get EMA (my parents' income is currently 32k which is just over but if I lived with my mum I'd get £30 a week as my parents never give me money anyway as they can't afford it). That's not the main reason but they do argue a lot...
