Banning The Sun/Lads Mags from Sale at LSE watch

It's true that Lads mags like Zoo and Nuts are complete trash, but banning them is stupid. I bet if these lads magazines were banned we'd still have women objectifying men in crappy women's magazines.

Most magazines are rubbish these days anyway. No wonder print media is on it's knees these days. Myself i prefer 'The Art of Manliness'

I do hope that these radical feminists don't wear any skirts that are shorter than knee length. I'd hate for them to dress up as a sex object. Wear full length skirts or trousers and have some respect.

If men magazines objectify women as sex objects then so do women's magazines and the fashion industry to an extent.

It is true that societies are patriarchal, although this is not the only common feature of most Western societies. They are also predominently white and middle class, which does not help matters.

Fashion magazines are different because they don't treat women as sexual objects. Coat hangers, maybe, but fashion is not about selling sex. High fashion rarely makes women look more attractive - it makes them look different. The only point on 'The feminists' list that would justify banning them is the unattainable bodies one.
Errr low cut tops? Skirts shorter than knee length?

Fashion can also be reinforce class divides too. Look up Jack Wills. Wonder how many of these LSE feminists do this then. And this is nothing new.
