Nah.... I generally don't want to lie, unless it's absolutely necessary and for the greater good
You've never lied to them? Wow.

I don't lie, but sometimes I do omit. I don't think my dad knows about all the LGBT stuff I do, and I know it makes him uncomfortable, so when he asks what I've been doing, I won't mention I was up til 3 folding leaflets.

Open. Never really lied about anything to them I don't think (warped the truth a few time though...)

I have no need really as they are pretty damn liberal. I was drunk when they came to visit me at uni, all they said was as 18 I can make my own choices and try not too drink too much.

I told my mum that an ex of mine had a cheesy smelly penis and giving him head was revolting. So... I guess I'm pretty open. But she's always let my boyfriends sleep in the same bed with me and been able to laugh about things. She found my sister's vibrator once and didnt even bring it up. And we swap stories of past drug experiences and heartache and bad boyfriends and all kinds of stuff. And whenever I've stumbled in completely off my face, she's just put me to bed.

    Its pretty neat really.

After coming out I am very open with my parents about everything. Less so with my Dad as sometimes it's better if I lie or just don't tell him about certain things. I could never lie to my Mum though. Even if I tried to she would know straight away that I wasn't being honest. I love having an open relationship with my parents. I honestly feel like I could talk to them about anything.

Well I certainly don't tell them everything or I'd be getting a great big Bible through the post. I chat to them every day though about what I'm up to, how the uni work's been, how I feel, and what's been going on though, so I'm open in that way, it's just that they think I'm more of a good girl than I am :p:

I lie to my parents. A lot. I know I shouldn't but I just want to avoid them having any information about my uni life or personal life. What they don't know can't harm them:ninja:

    I lie. I wish I didn't but well…
My mum is very nosey. She wants to know where I’ve been, with whom exactly, what we did in details. And I hate it, and if she knew the details, I would be forced to stay at home.
She doesn't understand I'm in my twenties and not a 5 year old.
She wishes I wouldn’t date anyone, just the guy I’ll marry never mind sex before marriage.

Don't really see what I'd have to lie about.
Sure, they're not very "liberal", but then neither am I.

I lie sometimes because it's much easier than having to explain the truth. Plus I'm not one to tell my feelings.

I always told my Mum the truth, however I usually lied to my dad about whatever was going on. My own children tell me everything, I"m guessing that will change as they get older though.
