I am an undergraduate at Leeds University, I posted on here before about feeling a bit down about friends etc, that has changed now! I'm having a great time with my friends, however I seem to not be able to get a boyfriend. Getting off in clubs or at home isn't the same!

Me and my friends go to clubs where the girls are generally very blonde and wearing little black dresses, I go to gigs etc and more 'indie' pubs but can't seem to find anyone. I'm a bit shy and can be a bit quiet with new people could this be the problem? I'm not what you'd call 'sexy' but people tell me I'm 'pretty' and look 'sweet', I'm not fat either and I'm just wondering for any advice. I go out all the time but should I be looking more at societies and socials etc? Thank you! x

You don't need to change your habits and style, unless you want to pull a guy who will most likely be the male equivalent of those girls in pubs. Gigs and pubs can also be great ways to meet, and probably more your type too, so stick with that, as it's where you feel most comfortable, and so theoretically you would come across better then somewhere you aren't so used to.

He's out there somewhere, but until then just carry on having a great time
