For all those currently waiting for their trade to open, six trades opened as of yesterday afternoon. I know that one of these is the ICT Aerial Erector position. I recommend you call your AFCO and see if your trade is one of those currently open, there are limited positions, and it is on a first come first served basis.

Sorry, I know it's childish: but lol at Aerial Erector :P

Is that the equivalent of a skydiving fluffer?

If I'm honest, I did double check that Erector was spelt right because I thought exactly the same as you!

Bumberry, the only one I know of for sure is the ICT Aerial Erector position as I enquired in regard to the ICT Specialist role, your best bet would be to call your AFCO and ask.

Thanks for the heads-up, Naigan -sadly Logistics is still closed for now.

Jon, I would call your recruitment office direct - I've found information from the main number on the website to be pretty sketchy at the best of times.

The AFCO don't get told? How can that be right?

Not a clue; it confused me also that they wouldn't know what trades are open, I might try ring again tomorrow and see if I speak to someone different. I got told that you apply online now and you don't go to the AFCO until after you've applied for the trade you want - or it was some description along those lines.

That number is practically useless, your best bet is always to contact your local AFCO. If they don't have the relevant information, try your next closest AFCO.

Called a different AFCO today and got told that musician, registered nurse and dental nurse are currently the only open trades.
