My friend is having a lady Ga Ga themed birthday party and I want o dress up! I have chosen this look: http://stylebakery.com/celebstyle/im...agaThierry.jpg

...with the extreme skirt, only problem is how do I get my skirt to pop out this much? Then I though of the victorians who used to use crinolines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crinoline) under their skirts.

I know in 2008 Vivienne Westwood used the 'mini crini' in her collection, but I can't find one anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can find one or how I can create the look without one, I really don't want to use lots of netting.

    Thank You!

hmm its essentially just wire..how about 4/5 strips of chicken wire pinned underneath the dress? the only problems are sitting down and not hurting yourself lol or just wear a skirt that sticks out underneath to help support it?

A lot of vintage shops in London were doing them late last year..like Rokit etc...
