Doesn't seem right playing monopoly on a cheese roll without cash. The cards look like ketchup sachets also wagwan with the models, half the luck in the game is choosing the right minituare (iron).

Still woudn't mind playing on it though.

That takes all the fun out of being banker though

It's alright, but whilst we still have two versions of monopoly we won't be getting it :nah:

Like it other than I would have an lcd screen that changes its display on each property to let you know how many houses/ if there is a hotel on there rather than those annoying little plastic things that get in the way.

I was syre this was a joke thread though... credit crunch monopoly...

Does monopoly really need to go chip&pin?

That looks bloody awful, I would have more fun fishing with an empty bucket and a piece of string.

They even got rid of the little characters in favour of plastic squares with a line drawn on them No car and no top hat = do not want.

    That's ****.

I like sorting my money out in a rainbow. Can't do that with a "credit card". :mob:

A round board isn't too bad an idea but it needs more colour. It looks so plain and boring.

They should do a "The Wire" version of it. That would be quality.

I don't think I like the no corners idea but I do like the credit card idea, probably just me on me own like. :P

Oh and I agree about the pieces....they should stay the same.

I don't think I could get used to that. We still need to get a proper monopoly set, the only one we have is on a phone. Old square monopoly ftw

    Haha so true.
