I'd say no, but I was talking to some of my neighbours once, and some of the antics they got up to reminded me very much of Skins. I was genuinely shocked.

The teens in skins only represent one group of teenagers. Not everyone is like them. We're all different

No, skins is a very unrealistic representation of what goes on with young people in the UK.

If people say otherwise then do not listen to them...they clearly live in a Fantasy World....

P.S. The Binge drinking is True though.......

Assuming from your profile pic that you're East Asian then chances are if you come to Britain you will be shocked, and not in a good way. Many East Asians seem to expect British people to be into polo, talk as if we're reenacting Macbeth and to have servants who wipe our arses. Unfortunately the truth is far much less posh.

if you consider the first two series of skins.. within that group: one died, one of their parents died, one got hit by a bus ended up brain damaged and was nearly forced to have sex with his sister, one was a crazy anorexic who ran away to america without telling anyone, one was pregnant, one was a gay dancer with a deranged female stalker - who was shagging the gay dancer's best friend.. in fact, they were all shagging eachother.. not to mention they stole a coffin and put in on top of a mini.

so yeah, i guess it is pretty true to teenage life in britain..

hmm, not really like what you said about what we expect...
but... i dont want my later life to be filled with those people as in 'skins'...
i just hope everything will be peaceful and happy... at least normal...
through university and finally learn something there! ><''

You're sorely mistaken, university won't be normal if you aren't British. Isn't that the reason you want to come here? The intrigue of different cultures?
